Students Feeding Families is a partnership between Feeding Indiana’s Hungry, its member food banks, and professional education associations to link Indiana’s students with Hunger Action Month, the Feeding America network’s annual nationwide campaign designed to spread awareness and engage the public in the movement to end hunger. The campaign brings attention to the reality that in every community in America, people are working hard to provide for themselves and their families; yet in 2022, 44 million people nationally, and 1 in 7 Hoosiers, experienced food insecurity.
