Additional funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will provide a temporary boost for families struggling with food insecurity. Starting on Jan. 1 and running through June 30, 2021 those receiving SNAP benefits will see an increase of 15% in the maximum amount they can receive.
