September is Hunger Action Month…and a critical time to share your voice with Congress!
The Child Nutrition and WIC Reauthorization Act of 2004 is set to expire, and Congress will soon vote to reauthorize funding for important Child Nutrition Programs. These programs include the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs, the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), the Summer Food Service Program, and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
You can help educate your Members of Congress about the importance of providing adequate funding for these programs. They play a critical role in helping feed our nation’s at-risk children.
